Disaster Supply Checklist
Water
__ At least 1 gallon daily per person for 3 to 7 days
Food
__ At least enough for 3 to 7 days
__ Non-perishable packaged or canned food / juices
__ Foods for infants or the elderly
__ Snack foods
__ Non-electric can opener
__ Cooking tools/fuel
__ Paper plates/plastic utensils
Blankets/Pillows, etc.
__ Clothing - seasonal/rain gear/sturdy shoes
__ First Aid Kit/Medicines/Prescription Drugs
__ Special Items - for babies and the elderly
__ Toiletries / Hygiene items / Moisture wipes
__ Flashlight / Batteries
__ Radio - Battery operated and NOAA weather radio
__ Cash (with some small bills) - Banks and ATMs may not be open or available for extended periods.
__ Keys
__ Toys, Books and Games
__ Important documents - in a waterproof container or watertight resealable plastic bag:
insurance, medical records, bank account numbers, Social Security card, etc.
__ Tools - keep a set with you during the storm
__ Vehicle fuel tanks filled
__ Pet care items
__ Proper identification/immunization records/medications
__ Ample supply of food and water
__ A carrier or cage
__ Muzzle and leash
